The apartment was even nicer than the pictures promised; from the lobby to the stairs to the actual rooms. Everything is filled with light and Flavia's delightful, exhuberant artwork. The colonial exterior opens into a fantastic modern, but homey, space that mixes both old and new elegantly. In addition to the space, Flavia provided detailed maps and information on all the ins and outs of the area, what to see and where to eat. All of her recommendations were excellent. She let us know about a jazz venue that the locals go to that had amazing world renowned artists playing in an intimate, open air setting. We had a magical time in Bahia, in no small part due to Favia's hostessing skills along with the well-appointed, comfortable apartment. I highly recommend this location.
