In this room with comfy box spring bed, you will for sure rest well. Enjoy trips to beautiful central Switzerland or relax in our garden :-) Cycling, hiking, reading, swimming.... From old to new, from dull to light-flooded and bringing you joy, delight and friendliness. With this idea in mind, we have rebuilt our home and are now able to welcome up to 5 guests (2 in this bedroom and 3 in the adjacent appartment - see our other entry on AirBnB). With the luxury box spring bed, a good night of sleep is almost guaranteed. Our guests can enjoy our garden and pool. Washing machine, dryer and drying room can be used upon agreement. For horse lovers, we offer lessons for children on our well-trained horses. I have been working in therapeutic horseback riding for years, so I can offer you several possibilities in horse-related activities such as vaulting and riding for both children. My husband is a fervid alpinist, so he will be happy to provide you with information for trips to the mountains. We are living in the same house and are happy to help with any questions you might have. Please note that our language is German, and we speak only little English - but using our hands and feets, we will surely find a way for mutual comprehension. Grosswangen is a small village with a population of about 3000 people. It is located in a rural environment in the heart of Switzerland. The surroundings offer lots of bucolic hiking, cycle and riding itineraries. In a short 10-15 minutes drive, you can reach the towns of Willisau, Sempach and Sursee - they are all pretty and historically preserved with their typical town gates etc. Bus line 61 gets you from Lucerne train Station directly to Grosswangen Post, departing every 30 minutes. From the bus stop, it is a short 10-minute walk to our house. There is also a parking space right in front of the house.
