Self Contained Coastal Annex In Totland
Our annex is fully furnished and ready for self-catering holidays or short stays. Situated at the end of a quiet unmade road surrounded by fields on three sides, and just a few minutes’ walk from Totland Bay, it is ideal as base for walker's, cyclists, beach goers or those who just want to get away from it all. With its own entrance, decked area, and access to the local network of footpaths, you can come and go as you please. COVID-19 UPDATE : Additional touch point cleaning carried out The Annex is divided up in to a large Main bedroom with a double bed, a smaller room with bunk beds, and a large living/kitchen/dining area. the bathroom has a low level toilet, sink and shower. The annex is self-contained with its own entrance. You will be able to park your car right outside the annex on a quiet unmade road. If you have outdoor equipment (Bikes, Kayaks, Surfboards, etc) you can unload and store this in either an open or locked garage. The annex has its own private entrance so you can come and go as you please. We will be around most of the time for help and advice if needed. Totland is the most westerly Parish on the beautiful Isle of Wight. Within the Parish of Totland are the world famous Needles rocks and the colourful sands of Alum Bay. As well as the attraction of the excellent beaches it is a popular destination for walkers, birdwatchers and all those who enjoy the peace and quiet of rural surroundings. The village has a general store, post office and other shops. Totland is situated approximately 3 miles from the ferry port of Yarmouth. Its a 45 minute walk along the river Yar (bridal path) and through the town of Freshwater to get to our location, or there is a regular bus service (Southern Vectis Number 7). The annex is situated at the end of an unmade (un-adopted) gravel road. Its bumpy but is accessible to all but the lowest sports cars!
