You have full private use of Wanera Cottage which is fully self contained with reverse cycle air conditioning, open fire (in operation April - October - BYO Wood or you can purchase a wheelbarrow worth that will do 2 nights)) and sunken bath. You will enjoy wonderful sunsets sitting on the verandah and around the outdoor fire pit during winter. (Subject to permissible fire regulation) Access to property is via private gate entry direct to cottage. Parking is beside the cottage. The cottage is at the end of a dirt road - you will need your own private transport to explore the village of O'Connell and district We live on the property at the main homestead, approx 300m away. If you are like minded and keen for a farm experience you are welcome to help with feeding our animals - sheep, pigs, horses, chicken, and working dogs. O'Connell is a wonderful community with many talented locals. Enjoy local wines from the Renzaglia Wines (neighbours up the road), coffee from local award winning Fish River Roasters, or a pale ale at the O'Connel Hotel from Fish River Valley Brewing.
