Very high standards of décor and equipment, refined finishing touches. Enhanced by spectacular mountain view. Kitchen is furnished of everything is needed for self-catering (electric oven, induction cooker, Nespresso – what else? , etc.). Cleaning and change of bed linen and bath towels once a week. Casperia is considered one of the most beautiful medieval villages in Central Italy, a small jewel. The old town centre, restored in the past two decades, is closed to car traffic. It offers, to the East, a wonderful view over the Sabini mountains and, to the West, it overlooks the Tiber valley and the mount Soratte, known as celebrated by the Latin poet Horace. Casperia and its surroundings also offer opportunities such as historical sites, art and beautiful panoramas, also enjoying trekking, horse-riding, biking and rafting; or wellness – yoga. Rome city centre (and Vatican City) at a bit more than one hour driving distance. As above, for example, for participating in the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy declared by Pope Francis (it will begin on 8 December 2015 and will conclude on 20 November 2016), lodging in Casperia could be a suitable solution.
