A warm welcome to The Cabin. We are committed to your health and well being, by appliance and approved Global Health cleaning protocol, and comply with local laws and guidelines. The Cabin is a self-contained separate from the main house, in a quiet area of the village of Mauchline. Perfect for a relaxed getaway. The Cabin hosts two people with the option of a double bed or two single beds ,with wifi and central heating. There is a spacious open plan kitchen/living area and a cosy bedroom/shower room, can offer 2 single or double bed, kitchen has a gas cooker, microwave and small fridge freezer , the living area has tv and wood burner stove, dining table and chairs, two seater and single seating, the bedroom has a double wardrobe for your things, the open shower room has shower sink and toilet, privacy screening. Outside on the decking seating area for you to enjoy if the weather is kind. The hot tub is on the decking under an opaque roof, to shelter you from the rain, view is of the garden, and is available to you through out the year. This year we have added The dome, which can be used through out the year. Dinning, watching the sun go down, what ever is a chill out for you. There is space for one car to park on the drive. Dogs are very welcome The cabin has its own entrance, to the side of our house, the area is fenced ,for your privacy. Hot tub is at the end of The cabin. We are delighted to be of help to ensure you have a very enjoyable break. The Cabin is located in the village of Mauchline, East Ayrshire, Scotland, where the famous poet Robert Burns lived for a number of year, and where the granite curling stones are made. Within a five minute walk you will find the pub, chemist, butchers, bakers ( sorry no candlesticks makers! ) supermarket and a selection of takeaway. Lovely walks and cycling routes are very close by. Transport in Mauchline is amazing, bus 5 mins walk away, train station at Auchinleck next village, airport at Prestwick 20 min by car, car ferry 45 min, away which will take you to Arran. Many excellent walking and cycling routes are to be found in Mauchline. Firewood, linen and towels are provided
