The Coach House at Rivendell is an idyllic stone cottage set on the banks of a quaint river, surrounded by woodland, wildflowers and even a miniature waterfall. Set in a private lush green valley with acres to wander around. A charming retreat for four (sleeping in two superking beds, or four singles on request ) very easy access to beautiful walks around Hadrian's Wall, the Lake District to the west or Northumberland to the east, or you could just enjoy the scenery from your own doorstep! The Coach House was built in the eighteenth century, but it has all the home comforts you need to relax and recharge. The bathroom is brand new, complete with roll-top bath, shower cubicle, underfloor heating and local toiletries Getting about is easy with parking at the Coach House and an excellent main road near by with access to all locations. Haltwhistle and surrounding villages have free parking, railway station and buses. Available to contact with questions, requests or for support and assistance in the unlikely event of there being an issue Breathtaking views are literally on your doorstep as the Coach House sits in 11 acres of private land. In addition, wonderful walks along Hadrian's wall , nearby castles , the Pennine way and much more are but a short distance. The Coach House is approached via a long drive and is in a courtyard which is within 11 acres of private land . The property is near an excellent main road and is 2 miles from Haltwhistle, ' the Centre of Britain' with its railway station and buses. The Coach House provides parking for 2 cars. The Coach House is an idyllic retreat for those who crave some peace and tranquility, a beautiful get away which has repeatedly been described by visitors as "so peaceful and tranquil"
