Breakfast Creek House & Cottage - A private valley

This outstanding 60 acre property is nestled at the very end of a small valley & surrounded on three sides by the Dharug National Park. The Hawkesbury River is a short stroll down the driveway. Plenty of space for the whole family, dog, boat & more. A FULL CLEAN OF ALL SURFACES IS CONDUCTED BETWEEN EACH BOOKING. The house is built from recycled timbers and has a wonderfully warm and inviting feel. There are two separate living rooms, one with a fire place and both with reverse cycle air conditioning. Both bathrooms have underfloor heating. The main house has 3 bedrooms: King, Queen, Singles x 4. We have some other options with beds so please send a message if you are unsure. The cottage has one queen bed, kitchen and bathroom. The cottage is never rented to another party. The whole valley is yours. Minimum stay is two nights. Public holidays are either three or four night minimum stay. Xmas and New Year's Eve is a 6 night minimum stay. THERE IS A FULL DAY WINDOW BETWEEN EACH BOOKING FOR CLEANING. The house will be opened prior to your arrival. The kitchen is jammed with useful items. Plenty of plates, cutlery etc for large family feasts. There is a gas bbq outside with a large dinning area. The pool is for your private use. It has solar heating and a solar blanket which will extend the swimmable weather - definitely not warm enough through Winter. Portable cot and high chair on request. Mel and Steve caretake the property. They live locally and can help you out if you require assistance. They check the property every day when they feed the horses. Shauna, the owner is on the end of the phone or email. We try our best to keep out of your way. Only 100km from Sydney but completely private and peaceful. No one to bother you and loads of space to enjoy. The Hawkesbury River is a 10 minute walk down the drive. There is a world class Thai restaurant and a friendly general store. There is a public boat ramp between the Spencer General Store and the caravan park. Small to large boats can be hired in Spencer. Ask Shauna. The local fire station has a tennis/basketball court that you are welcome to use foc. Almost no public transport. You will have to drive. No one will find you unless you invite them! You can bring one well behaved, house trained family dog that is low shedding. (no Golden Retrievers etc) Please do not allow the dog on the couches or beds. Also, please be aware that there are horses on the property (BRING CARROTS) and they will kick dogs that chase them. Under no circumstances are the horses to be ridden. Although they are extremely friendly and love a cuddle, riding them would be unsafe.
