Interaction with guests: We are a family of five who moved from England to France in 2003 to start a new life. We live at Keranmeriet, so are here to welcome our Guests when they arrive and explain about the facilities and the area. Equally though we are not intrusive, so you feel completely at ease when staying here. We have 6 other properties on this site, look under Keranmeriet, Melgven. Please feel free to email us with your enquiries and we look forward to seeing you here soon. Rob and Erika We are in the countryside set in the middle of our own land, yet are only 2kms from our nearest town. There are many historic places to visit close by, such as Pont Aven (10 mins), famous for watermills and artists such as Gaugin, Concarneau (15 mins) with it's walled town and fishing port, Quimper (20 mins), with it's historic Cathedral and medieval buildings. We are also a short drive from lots of beautiful unspoilt beaches, that also have coastal paths which are great for a long walk or short stroll! Parking is available on site and we also have a selection of bikes for our Guests to use. (Guests must provide their own helmets, children under age 11 is a legal requirement). A car is essential to visit the area. We keep chickens (fresh free range eggs), ducks and turkeys and also have bee hives where we produce our own honey. (The hives are kept away from the cottages so you wouldn't know they were there!). During June (one week) you will see the occasional tractor when we are hay making.
