Only approx 9 miles from Gleneagles Golf Course & 35 miles from St Andrews Links, both golf attractions are within an easy drive from Penny Cottage. Dollar is known to be the most sought after of the towns lining the Ochil Hills. A burn runs through the centre of the town and is a stunning feature in every season. Dollar Glen provides hill walks and access to Castle Campbell, where tours are available in season. There are a range of amenities where all essentials can be obtained, as well as a pub, restaurant, bar, cafe & deli. There is also a beauty salon, chemist & doctors surgery. Buses to Stirling and St Andrews are available from Dollar. It is recommended to have a hire car as public transport does not pass through more frequently than every 2 hours. For a stays longer than 1 week, an additional cleaning fee will be added per week at the cost of the guest.
