Light and Airy Home on the Hilltop

Imagine this - You arrive and are immediately welcome by flowers and wild birds in a beautiful garden. As you open the front door, you can feel the comfortable air flowing out from a well insulated house. You make your way to your private cozy bedroom, right next to the bathroom and toilet. Leaving your luggage there, you walk out to a spacious kitchen, grab some organic tea and make yourself comfortable on the inviting sofas in a sunlit living room. Welcome to your home away from home. Our light and airy home is recently renovated with full insulation, an HRV ventilation system and an air conditioner, all of which means a dry and healthy home that is warm in winter and cool in summer. Your private and cozy bedroom is equipped with a queen size Latex mattress (i.e. natural rubber, not those spring mattresses that can hurt your back), cotton bed sheets, wool blankets, heaters and fans, and ample storage spaces. The spacious living room is full of sunlight - perfect to chill out during the day, or snuggle up with Netflix or a good book in the evening. Wifi is free for you to use. You are welcome to use our eco-friendly kitchen and dining area. We also have a designated working area with office desks, spare monitors and keyboards in case you need to work. Oh, and did we mention continental breakfast is included? The surrounding private garden is full of flowers, edible plants (which you are welcome to use) and resident wild birds. We are situated down a long drive way, far from any traffic noise and full of bird songs, with superb view towards the Waitakere ranges in the West. You will have access to the whole house and garden, except for the master bedroom. There's an off-street parking slot reserved for you right in front of the property. We will respect your personal space, but will also be more than happy to chat and share our travel experience with you if you so wish. Our long driveway means no traffic noise from the main road will disturb your sleep. Our neighbours are quiet and respectful. The location cannot be more convenient. There are supermarkets and shops within 5 minutes drive, whichever direction you go. The motorway is 10 minutes drive away. All the best beaches in West Auckland, Piha, Muriwai, Karekare - you name it, are 30 minutes drive away. If you don't have a car, there are bus stops right in front of the property that can take you to central Auckland. The Sunnyvale train station is also 20-minute walk away. We are both up to date with our Covid-19 vaccinations. You will be required to be the same and able to show your vaccine pass when staying with us, so that we can protect each other and our community.
