4 yr old house on acreage with large spacious living rm and 2 bdrms; generous Qn sized bdrm and small twin bdrm. A/C. Large family rm and 2 sinks in private bthrm. An additional twin bed can be set up in the living room for more guests. There is bar fridge on deck, private sink back entrance and access to the BBQ. Shared kitchen. Sorry no pets. Guests must be vaccinated and social distancing in kitchen must be respected. This is a rural area so no streetlights and little noise. We shut the gate to the driveway so the deer don't eat our garden. If the gate is shut when you arrive or leave, please shut it when you come or go out. We have horses on the property. They are available to visit only with the owner present but the are not available to ride. Private upstairs entrance into large back room, sink at the back door, stairs down to large living space, queen sized bedroom with 2 twin beds and a second twin bedroom ,and bathroom off the space. Must be fully vaccinated and comply with prov. health guidelines. Pretty available as we like company, but when its feeding time we are busy at 6:30 am-9 am and 4:30-6pm. We are also in the middle of landscaping, which is fun, but has to be done during the day. We are at home most of the time. It's rural, quiet and pastoral. There are lots of places to bike; we are 3km from Maple Bay and 5 minutes drive into Duncan. The Saturday morning market is very good. The Tin Cup, Heritage Indian Cuisine, the Garage are all good places to eat. Many like several vineyards (Zanatta and Averill Creek ) and the Raptor Centre is close by. There are lots of trails to drive or bike to. There aren't any buses or bus stops. It takes about 20 minutes to walk into Duncan centre going by the scenic route. But you can drive downtown in 10 minutes and to the shopping mall (Cowichan Commons) in 5 minutes. Hospital is 7 minutes away. Park on the left side of the driveway and follow the left walkway to the second door on the right. Call us if you need better instructions. We are on the corner of Herd and Mays; turn north onto Mays and we are the first acreage on the left. Yellow 2 storey house and yellow barn.
