"The Workshop" studio apartment in leafy suburb

"The Workshop" is our cosy and stylish studio apartment; professionally converted and perfect for your visit to Manchester. It's great for those looking for a comfortable, quiet place with free parking and WiFi. You can check yourselves in and get settled in no time. We have plenty of amenities nearby and you are perfectly located to get to most of Manchester by car or public transport. There is a projector with Netflix and surround sound for you to enjoy. Once my workshop while renovating our house; it was converted in the summer of 2017. The studio is extremely well insulated and well thought-out with a mezzanine double bed, quality sofa bed, kitchenette, en-suite and breakfast bar area. The high ceiling and open area make the studio feel spacious. The workshop is kept clean by professional cleaners after every guest; following the Airbnb cleaning and sanitising guidelines. check-in is contactless and we provide sanitiser for use during your stay along with anti bacterial wipes and plenty of soap. There is plenty of free parking on the street right outside. You have your own gate, small outdoor area and full private access to the apartment. This is up to you! The apartment is completely your own space. We will give you an access code, so you can check in and come-and-go as you please, but if you need anything we are only a few meters away. We love meeting new people and are happy to make recommendations. If we are not around, you will have our mobile numbers to contact us. Old Trafford / Whalley Range (we are on the border) is a leafy suburb of South Manchester. We have grocery shops nearby and several bars 5-10mins walk away. Deansgate is a 1.5 mile walk, as is the centre of Chorlton where you will find some great bars and restaurants. Old Trafford Football and Cricket Grounds are close by, but not so close that we are affected by crowds, noise or parking issues. The airport is approximately £20 by taxi We are on 2 main bus routes - number 86: Chorlton to Manchester Piccadilly and number 15 Stretford to Manchester Piccadilly. There are 2 tram stops within a 15min walk. Walking is easy and you can get to the centre, Old Trafford Football and Cricket grounds in 30mins. Taxis are plentiful and generally inexpensive. £3-£15 (depending on time) will get you to most places you may want to go. Manchester now has Mobike cycle hire, which is a fast and inexpensive way to get around. We can provide a travel cot if needed. There is no TV, but we have a projector with Netflix and BBC Iplayer.
