Airole is a beautiful medieval village in the mountains near Ventimiglia, about 12 km from the Mediterranian Sea. Airole has a few restaurants, bars and a beautiful piazza. Our house is an authentic 'casa airolese'. Living room, bathroom, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 terraces with a nice view on the mountains. There is Dutch satellite television and a (Hidden by Airbnb) Chromecast device. Wifi available. The house consists of a spacious living room, a nice kitchen with all the equipment you need, bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. A bedroom with a twin bed and spacious cupboards, a second bedroom above with two single beds, 2 terraces with a nice view on the mountains. You are allowed to enter all the rooms. We can comunicate with our guests by wifi or text messages. In Airole Mr Salvatore Alfano (who lives on the piazza) can help you in case of emergency. He also will clean the property after your departure. Airole is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Imperia in the Italian region of Liguria, located about 130 kilometres (81 mi) southwest of Genoa and about 40 kilometres (25 mi) west of Imperia, on the border with France. Airole borders the following municipalities: Breil-sur-Roya (France), Dolceacqua, Olivetta San Michele, and Ventimiglia. You can make a lot of walks in the neighbourhood to the little villages of Fanghetto, Collabassa, Torri, Bevera..... And not to be forgotten the river Roya! Swimmimg, sunbathing, fishing, walking alongside...... A sensational spot to relax on your holiday. There is a train and bus connection to Ventimiglia. We have to charge 1 euro per person per night for tourist tax. This tax will be charged after reservation and has to be paid to the owner and not to airbnb.
