Riverfront Retreat
Riverfront retreat was built in the 1880's. It used to be a tin shop, then a hardware store. Presently there is an antique store in lower front which is open every other weekend and the apartment is in the lower back of the building. There are stable renters upstairs. It is across the street from a river with a dam. The apartment is small but perfect for a short stay. There is plenty of free, overnight street parking. The ceiling in the bedroom is only 6 feet 9 inches high so if you are tall, keep this in mind. There is a coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, stove, refrigerator, dishes, utensils and basics for cooking. There is a deck in the backyard behind the barn with chairs and a firepit for summer. We are available by phone, e mail, text for any questions or concerns. We are nearby downtown West Bend, MOWA (art museum), and trails to walk or bike (Lac Lawrann conservancy, Ice age trail and Eisenbahn trails.
