Snug, compact and bijou, Cherub Cottage, completely refurbished in 2018, is situated in the heart of the beautiful Cotswold village of Chalford Hill and is the perfect couples getaway. With a comfortable lounge and well equipped kitchen downstairs, luxurious bedroom and en suite shower room upstairs and suntrap terrace for morning coffee it is ideal for 2 but can take 4 at a squeeze. Nick, your host lives 2 minutes walk away, and is happy to recommend things to do and see. The Cottage is at least 200 years old and was originally a storehouse or barn. It has been a dwelling for some time and was completely refurbished in 2018. Nick and Heidi will leave you in peace but are close at hand if you want local advice. We usually have some livestock if you would like to come feeding Chalford is a quintessential Cotswold village perched on the side of the valley. Perfect for country walks and fresh air. 2 pubs, a fish and chip shop , a tea shop and a community store in the village. Quirky Stroud and upmarket Cirencester nearby. A great base for exploring the Cotswolds. Within an hour of Bath,Bristol and Oxford, half an hour from Cheltenham and Gloucester. There is a free car park right next to the Cottage. Buses run from the village to Stroud and Cirencester. There is a train station in Stroud with a direct link to London.
