No cleaning fee is added Appleby House is set on 25 acres of land on the Waimea Plains - it has stunning 360 views of Mt Arthur, farmland, Waimea Estuary and the Richmond Hills. Three distinct areas - Turquoise Room, Upstairs Apartment and the Downstairs Apartment all very separate & private from each other BUT they do share the kitchen, dining and outdoor entertainment and BBQ area. Centrally heated, plus open fire in downstairs lounge and outdoor fire area. 3.5 bathrooms plus the Downstairs Apartment has a outdoor bath area. Outdoor dining area with BBQ and outdoor fire COMPLIMENTARY WiFi, lots of parking space. 8 minutes drive from Mapua, 20 minutes from Nelson City The house is fully set up for guests, we do not live in the house, but do live on the property, the property also accommodates Rabbit Island Huts & Rabbit Island Glamping. We live on site although away from the House and are here to help if required at any time. Farmland with views of sheep, cows and horses. 360 views of mountains, hills and the Waimea Estuary. You feel like you a million miles away, but close to everything you need. Richmond 8 mins drive, Mapua 8 mins - cafes, bars, galleries and restaurants. Rabbit Island beach 2 minutes down the road, stunning 10 km beach front. 20 minutes drive from Nelson Airport or 1 hour bike ride. There is no public transport that passes the property there is a bus system that will drop you at the start of our road, buses that go to Mapua, Motueka or the Abel Tasman National Park.
