A secluded and peaceful retreat in the beautiful West Sussex countryside. Near the pretty market town of Petworth in the Southdowns National Park and within the Dark Skies reserve. The self-contained cottage offers comfortable, spacious accomodation comprising a double bedroom, bathroom, large double-height sitting room, open plan dining room, kitchen, private patio and ample off road parking. The Barn is three miles from Pulborough railway station and the town of Petworth, with its interesting shops and great resturants. Footpaths, bridle paths and pretty country lanes abound and the South Downs are a couple of miles away. We are convenient for Goodwood Horse and motor racing, stately homes, gardens,museums, flying, gliding, ballooning and beaches. All areas in the Barn and the owner's garden. Help available during guest's stay. The Barn is in a country location but only a mile from the well stocked Fittleworth Comunity stores and the Swan pub. Sainsburys and Tesco are in Pulborough three miles away and Petworth has many speciality shops, delecatessens and places to eat. Pulborough Railway station is three miles away. Departures from London leave from Victoria. Taxis are available for local journeys but need to be pre-booked.
