On Golden Mile Lake Rotoma

Our 'kiwi dream' 2 bedroom bach with bunkhouse attached at back of bach, that also sleeps 3 ,outlook over pristine lake....we recently updated to Rimu furniture, with leather lounge suites. So you can enjoy our bach even more by relaxing inside in winter where its nice, cosy & warm OR in summer ...enjoying the decks ,the warmth of the sun all day, BBQing, 3 kayaks to use by our guests on the lake or just relaxing with a book.. its all here for you.. Gorgeous big deck to sit & enjoy the lake view from inside & out . French doors to open up in summer to enjoy that cool breeze . French doors off the main bedroom onto a side front deck .. view of the lake while still in bed ! Large kitchen to cook the trout you catch ... lovingly warm home . Laundry underneath the house. Full access of two kayaks & life jackets . We always respond as quickly as possible to emails , we live in Brisbane, Australia, so please allow time difference when messaging at night time . Thanks Sue & Dave We have access to the beach just right across the road . Two boat ramps within 2 mins drive , 1 to the right at the picnic area & 1 to the left just behind the local shop/cafe . Our local shop & The Old Trout Cafe provides gorgeous breakfasts , lunch & dinner . The Waitangi Soda Springs ( thermal pools) are just 7 mins drive away towards Rotorua.. beautiful hot therapeutic pool. Car is the best way to get around . Biking is also fun. But I prefer to do my half hour walk to the local cafe .. great walk around the lake We have 3 different kayaks for our guests to use, board games for children. *Please note mobile reception can be limited to on the deck or just inside depending on your server .. it's a peaceful place to unwind without technology.
