Pet friendly with fenced backyard. The Eastern Shore is famous for its seafood, history, nature and fresh produce! Come Visit! Little old farmhouse with updated features in the tiny town of Church Creek Maryland (population 125), less than 10 minutes from Cambridge, Md. A great base for Eastern Shore activities in a country setting. The house has two levels. The first floor has a new kitchen where we provide many staples should you decide to cook in. It also has a laundry room, dining room and living room containing comfortable furniture where you can sit to watch the gorgeous sunset through the glass door or relax with DVDs that we provide. The second floor has three bedrooms and a bathroom. The third bedroom must be accessed through the master bedroom or the "hidden" back staircase, typical of old country homes ( a favorite feature of visiting children!). YOU WILL HAVE TO USE STAIRS. The backyard is fenced for any canine friends, and has a table perfect for your crab feast. There are lovely fields beyond our backyard with a grassy walking path down to a playground in one direction and to the creek (body of water, not the town) in the other direction. The large grassy area between the back fence and crop fields is also our property, and a great space for some frisbee. Mini-split cooling units keeps the house nice and cool in summer, with a window unit air conditioner in the back bedroom for extra cooling. Whole house! Enter the mudroom from the driveway via lockbox. I am available, however please understand I work during the day & will respond as soon as I can during business hours.
