Little Olive Hideaway

The villa is set on a valley with a breathtaking view of the mountains around it. It is located in a quiet village called Alvados, where you can experience the old days' rural life. It is our family holiday villa and so it is equipped with all amenities necessary for anyone traveling alone or in a group to have a good and relaxing time. Surrounded by nature 360º you will feel like you've been immersed into relaxing mode. The property is filled with quiet corners and its garden will give you enough space to definitely find some calm and ease. The property is filled with olive trees, which are one of it's most unique and lovely characteristics. Decide for yourself where you would like to spend more time: by the pool, under a tree, on the balcony or terrace, or even hiking/biking around the kms and kms of indigenous nature trails that surround our villa. All areas of the villa are accessible. You can choose to relax inside the house, in one of the 5 bedrooms or one of the two common rooms, or outside beneath the shade of an olive tree, by the pool or on the terrace facing the mountains. The villa will be for you to enjoy at its fullest. However, if there is a need for any special requests or emergencies, we will be available 24h to assure you have most enjoyable stay possible. Furthermore, it can also be arranged to provide a maid that will be available to clean and cook at your request. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Just a few hundred meters away from the village church, you can hear the bells toll and the children running and playing in the sun. It brings you back to the old days where there were no cars and pollution. Time just fades when you are in Alvados. The sun sets behind the mountain offering a lovely end of a day and an opportunity to listen to the birds sing their last songs before they go to sleep. There are no large buildings or lights so it is common is summer days to get overwhelming starry nights. The property is accessible by car and can be easily reached through the main highway that connects Lisbon to Oporto (A1). A detailed route to the house will be given to you upon your reservation.
