Le Monteil Revolution: Roam Freely. Breathe Easy. Think Clearly. Luxury glamping in geodesic domes on a smallholding in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine, central France. Our dream is to create a space where people can truly relax. Where they can discover things about themselves and the world around them that modern day life may prohibit. Come and Unplug at Le Monteil Revolution. We have a fully furnished luxury geodesic glamping dome - called Rocher - available for rent on our site. It comes complete with super king size bed and 100% cotton sheets, a sofa bed, chest of drawers and its very own wood burner for the colder months. Outside the dome is your private decking where you can relax and enjoy the view, which is particularly good at sunset. In addition to all of this you also have your own, private outdoor wooden woodfired hot tub. The water is completely clean and chemical free so we encourage guests to shower before they relax in it. Nestled between Rocher and one of our beautiful cherry trees, the hot tub is completely secluded from the outside but still offers a fantastic view down across the valley. It takes approximately 45 minutes to heat and we will change the water for you every 4 days. We encourage you to use the dome as an electronic free zone in order to really be able to unplug and experience Le Monteil Revolution at its best. To make your glamping experience as comfortable as possible you are provided with your very own luxury bathroom complete with sink, toilet, shower, toiletries and towels. This bathroom also has charging points for your electronic devices and hairdryers and can be locked so you can keep all of your bits and bobs safe and sound. The communal indoor kitchen comes fully quipped with integrated fridge/freezer, microwave, double oven and electric hob and all of the pots pans/crockery/utensils that you could need for the duration of your stay. We also provide some of the basic condiments and cleaning stuffs that you may need (salt, pepper, oil, washing up liquid) so that you don't have to. There is also WIFI provided in the kitchen areas as well as TV for guest use. In addition to this kitchen we have an outdoor summer kitchen where you can cook on high overlooking the site as it drops away before you. This cooking spot is equipped with cool boxes to keep your food and drinks chilled, a gas hob, a cold water sink to wash down veg and a Kadai (which is an Indian cooking bowl). The Kadai also doubles up as a great fire pit for chilling out around long into the summer evenings. There is crockery for use outside located in the kitchen indoors. We have many animals on site and encourage all of our guests to interact with them. You will be provided with your very own chickens for your stay who will provide you with fresh eggs every morning - if they are doing their job properly of course. At present we also have two pigs, two miniature donkeys, two cats and two dogs, all of which love human interaction. As well as our animals we have a veg plot on the go and produce is available to purchase when in season. We know that your space is important so we try to give you as much of it as we can during your stay. You may however see us when we are tending to the animals, the veg plot or cleaning the facilities. Please don't be afraid to say hello and if you need anything else then don't hesitate to ask. We are located in a very small hamlet with only one other resident in the heart of the Creuse region of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine/Limousin, France. As a result of this it is very quiet and peaceful at Le Monteil Revolution with artificially made sound being rarity. Due to our rural location there are no public transport links direct to the site and we would encourage visitors to have private transport of their own to make their stay as comfortable as possible. Gueret is our nearest town (20 mins by car) with a train station although La Souterraine is a 45 minute drive away and is on the TGV line to Paris which is only 2h40m away. Limoges is our nearest airport and it offers flight services to numerous airports in the UK and Europe and has hire car facilities available. The stars are fantastic!!!!
