Caldbeck is one of the most beautiful and peaceful of all the Lakeland villages but also within easy reach of Keswick, Bassenthwaite, Penrith, the Northern Fells and the Solway. There are fabulous river and fell walks from the doorstep as well as The Cumbrian Way and local amenities including The Odd Fellows public house (opposite), historic church, tearoom and shops
