Cedar Cliff Beach Cabin, Tuckasegee, Near WCU!

CEDAR CLIFF LAKE IS BEING DRAWN DOWN 40 FEET FOR CONSTRUCTION ON THE DAM AND BEACH until further notice. Water levels will be approximately 60 ft. during this time. Lake access is closed. We are in close proximity to Bear Lake (15 min), Lake Glenville (30 min) and 3.7 miles from a nice park on the river where you can tube, fish or swim. We are 15 minutes from WCU. Cabin is above the public boat ramp. The majority of construction is by the dam which is not near the cabin. Our 750 sq. ft. cabin feels spacious for a small place. There are hiking trails within walking distance of the house, as well as waterfalls and beautiful scenery. We have seen American Bald Eagles, cranes, beavers, ducks and more. The firefly show at night can rival fireworks on the 4th of July. A/C window units in both bedrooms, May-October. WIFI Sling TV Lake access is closed until construction is complete. It is generally peaceful but there are times when workers may be present on the boat ramp. We do not have any notice when this may occur.
