Village Oasis

Our charming & cheerful, light-filled cottage styled home is nestled between the harbor and the Royal River in the historical coastal town of Yarmouth. Conveniently located 15 min. between Portland and Brunswick this oasis of peace and tranquility can be everything you need to enjoy the coast, lakes and mountains of "The Pine Tree State" or can be used as a hub for all the excitement and culture of Portland. Our clean and tastefully decorated home offers all you need and awaits your arrival. The yard and lush gardens offer a quiet retreat complete with a custom designed and built "treehouse" where you can read, nap, birdwatch and listen to the river as you relax. We most often will be staying locally and available for questions and help should the need arise. We have lived in Yarmouth for 50 years and are happy to help make your stay enjoyable. Yarmouth is a friendly and safe community.Just a few steps away from our door are award winning restaurants, a farm market, river sanctuary, art gallery, bookshop, library, coffee shops, music venues and a brewery. Yarmouth is a very walkable community, safe and friendly. Public transportation is available to Portland and Freeport (where you can visit and shop the famous LLBean and factory outlets). Our home has extensive gardens and container plants which create the "oasis". During extended stays we will need to access property to water or guests who are willing may do so.
