Scottland Yard Wisteria- Glamping Tent

The Wisteria fits 2 adults and 1 child. This tent has a double bed, a small fold down love seat for child, frig, coffee station, dresser, and love seat. The tent is NOT heated or airconditioned. We provide electric blankets and a fan in each tent for hot or chilly nights. There is wifi access in the common areas/public spaces. There is nearby access to swimming, 2 porta Johns, 2 shared full baths located in the great hall. We allow pets, however we charge a pet fee of (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) per pet per night. This listing is for our lovely smaller 2-3 person Wisteria tent! It is a 12x14 tent complete with one double bed, 1 small day bed suitable for a small child, frig, coffee station, fan, electric blanket, all linens, bedding and towels. The glamp has its own firepit and patk style grill. The glamps are NOT heated or air conditioned! We have provided electric blankets and a fan for those especially hot or chilly nights. Please check the weather forecast and dress appropriately for camping. The free range peacocks, peahens and chickens are fun to watch as they wander around the yard. The 3 horses are friendly and enjoy being petted over the fence. Please know this is a farm and the farm animals are early risers. We provide earplugs in the bedside table for those of you who are not! We also have other glampers and guests. Our guests are invited to make themselves a bit of breakfast with the dark yellow yoked eggs the hens ( when they are able) provide! We have a beautiful natural pool for swimming. The colorful koi are lovely and can be fed by our guests. We a have a small Mercantile store. We sell our coffee, local wine and beer, smore kits and roasting sticks, coffee, eggs, breakfast snacks and juice among other things. additionally we have a small boutique which sells jewelry, soaps, dresses, t shirts, incence and gifts among other things! We are just a short 15 minutes drive from Ithaca and nearby gorges and wineries! We do welcome your pets. Let us know if your bringing a furry friend. Additionally we have a few rules you need to know about before deciding to bring them with you. #1- They must be on leash at all times when here on the farm. #2-They are required to be, well behaved, kid friendly and other dog friendly. #3-They may not be barking constantly day and night, and may not be left at the farm while you are sight seeing. #4-Their lawn (yard) poops need to be immediately scooped up and disposed of by owners unless the dogs do their business in the nearby field which is provided for your convience! #5-No dog swimming allowed in the lined pool on the property. #6-your pet must be up to date with their vaccinations and be free of fleas. (Website hidden by Airbnb) We have a lovely well appointed indoor kitchen you have full access to as well as numerous round outdoor bistro tables and a picnic table in the common outdoor space. *The outdoor kitchen and family propane grill are reserved for our family. You will have access to 2 full bathrooms within the great hall building and 2 porta John's. You also have access to the beach and all common area bistro tables. You may enjoy the grounds, hammocks, pool and shops. You may pet the horses and hang out and cuddle Leo in the rabbit pen. You may feed animals only the treets provided in the shops. *You do not have access to others private rented spaces, the great hall, the barns and enclosed pastures, and private homes. We are happy to help you with any information about interesting things to do around the Ithaca area. It's very important that you enjoy yourselves to the max! Other guests/glampers stay here as well. 6 feet of social distancing with other guests other than your group inside or out outside is required. Masks outside are not required. When cooking inside the kitchen or using the indoor bathroom facilities in the great hall they are required. We encourage you to enjoy each other and respect each others privacy and quiet time when enjoying your evenings around the fire pit and grounds. Quiet time is 11pm-9am. Scottland Yard community consists of several small clustered homesteads. Each Sunday is 'Sunday funday' BBQ at Scottland Yard from 2-7pm. Monday-Thursdays from 2-6 we have family swimming at Scottland Yard. Our guests often join us for this joyful time. If you happen to arrive or are enjoying the facilities during these hours, please know that you're welcome to join us if you wish! We are 1 mile from the Ithaca t-cat bus route, 2 miles from the park and ride. -Pets are welcome we charge (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) per pet per night. We will collect that fee via cash, zelle or (Hidden by Airbnb) . -Day driving distance to Ithaca's gorges, and wine trails. -Ithaca has some of the finest dining in the world! Check the weather and dress appropriately please! -There are over 200 wineries in the Fingerlakes Region and many are within an hours drive. The closest one to us is Six Mile Creek Vineyard about 5 miles away. -Quiet time begins at 10:00 PM. please be concious and respectful of other guests. Kitchen stove, sink, counters pots, pans mustard be cleaned. Dishes must be cleaned dried and put away after each use before leaving the area! ****July 4th weekend- please take into consideration before booking! There are fireworks (that can be heard) nearby at the neighbors homestead. Our July 4th weekend guests are invited to attend the neighborhood display. The display is not on our property. Our farm is located close enough that the fireworks are still loud. Dogs, fellow travelers, and/or children traveling with you may get frightened during the 15 minute display.
