Valley View Cottage

We would like to welcome you to our detached cottage in the small village of Icklesham, between Hastings and Rye. With open countryside on the doorstep, there are plentiful walks including the 1066 Country Walk which runs long side the property. With comfortable space both inside and out, you can also just take it easy and enjoy the peace and tranquillity on offer. This is a recently renovated cottage with private garden away from the main house, with off road, safe parking. Comprising of a fully equipped, open plan kitchen, comfortable sitting room with French doors leading out to a private decked area and garden with stunning views over The Brede Valley. Upstairs there is a large, bright bedroom with a modern, en-suite shower room and toilet with plenty of space in the walk-in wardrobe for your belongings. Guests also have access to a dedicated games room which is heated and comes equipped with a pool table, darts board and drinks fridge. Sole use of house and patio/garden. We live on site in the main house and so can help whenever possible. There are two excellent local pubs within easy walking distance of the cottage, offering a range of real ales and tasty homemade food. The village of Icklesham is situated 5 miles from the stunning Cinque Port of Rye with its many pubs and shops offering a wonderful town to explore. In the other direction, the popular seaside town of Hastings is only a 10 minute drive away. The cottage is ideal for couples. The 1066 Country Walk is easily accessed from the garden of the cottage. The A259 is the main route into Icklesham.
