Welcome to De Brus Hoose a modern apartment which sleeps 5 people, situated in the heart of the Heritage Quarter. Dunfermline was once the ancient capital of Scotland and is a short commute to our capital city Edinburgh. Our property has the most unique views of the iconic Dunfermline Abbey, the burial place of many Scottish Kings and Queens, and where the tomb of Robert the Bruce can be seen. De Brus Hoose offers a home from home and a central location to explore Scotland. A spacious south facing open plan living and kitchen space. A bright space with 4 large windows offering unique views across some of the most important historic buildings in our Scottish history. The heritage quarter where our apartment is located is a vibrant area with a mix of culture, history, independent shops and green space. The living/kitchen space is the perfect space to congregate with family, friends for eating, cooking or just chilling and admiring our incredible views after a day sightseeing. A large entrance hallway offers access to our scandi style bathroom with a walk in power shower. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, further along the hall the second bedroom has a double bed. There is a sofa bed in the living area for the 5th person. There is parking on the street the apartment is on. This is hourly parking during peak times of Monday - Saturday 9am - 5pm. (We would advise downloading the RingGo parking app if you want to park during these times here). Outwith these hours you can park on the street for free. There is a 24 hour car park a short 3 minute walk from the apartment. Situated in the heart of Heritage Quarter of Dunfermline, right next to Dunfermline Abbey, Abbot House, Carnegie Library & Galleries, Andrew Carnegies birthplace and the beautiful Pittencrieff Park a wonderful green space gifted to the people of Dunfermline by Andrew Carnegie. As well as many historic sites and points of interest Dunfermline has many wonderful variety of cafes, restaurants and independent shops. The train station is a 15 minute walk from the apartment and the rail and bus links to Edinburgh and Glasgow are frequent. Edinburgh is 30 minutes away on the train and Glasgow 50 minutes on the bus.
