Welcome to 'SoundView', our holiday home in a beautiful part of Devon with spectacular views over Plymouth Sound. Sleeping 4+2 it's a well equipped chalet ideal for those who love the outdoors, only 50m from the stunning beaches of Bovisand Bay. Located on the South West coast path, you can choose a variety of walks & refresh in some great local pubs. Nearby Mountbatten watersports centre offers: sailing, canoeing, diving & a public slipway. A perfect stop-over to/from Plymouth ferry port. COVID -19. If you book and the government advises against travel to Devon we will need to cancel your booking. This is to protect our local NHS Services from an influx of people to the area. I hope you understand. We will refund your booking in full. NEW - WIFI AND FREE VIEW. Flat screen TV, DVD (large selection of DVDs), WIFI and FreeView. Dogs welcome - but must be kept on leads on the estate. South facing rear patio, seating and masonry BBQ. Fantastic views from front patio particularly for sunsets over Plymouth sound and boat spotting- Sleeps 4 (1 double bedroom, 1 bunk room). Well equipped kitchen - dishwasher, microwave & washing machine Please note though we do accept 2 night rentals. This is in term time only. Do contact me if you wish to discuss - there may be some flexibility. Underfloor heating & electric log effect fire. This is a private estate. Please be respectful and no noise outside after 10pm. Chalet has its own allocated parking space - but you will need to pay for parking - approx £4.00 per day. All bedding, towels, tea towels etc. supplied. Picnic basket, blanket and 'tiffin' food carrier, plastic plates etc. Access to whole property. PLEASE NOTE the chalet is situated on a private gated estate - with open access throughout the day. But the gates are locked 7.30pm throughout the winter months and 9.30pm during the summer. If your arrival is anticipated to be after the gates are locked you will need to collect the key from the chalet which is about a mile round trip. Apologies the gate keys cost us £30 each and we have lost a couple so cannot send out. We do not live locally but are available by phone. Sun loungers provided. As well as, assorted kids toys - crab bucket and lines, body boards, swing ball etc. everything in the Chalet for guest use. This is a private estate which is open to the public during the day - but is very tranquil in the mornings and evenings - but never really feels too busy - gates are locked overnight. IMPORTANT - the main gates are locked 7.30pm April - October and 5.30pm at all other times. There is a key to the gate in the chalet - but if you arrive after these times you will need to walk to the chalet to collect the key - about 10 minutes each way.
