Le Chai is a tastefully converted barn on the fringe of the small village of Avezan in the heart of Gascony. It has a pool, summer kitchen and landscaped gardens making it an ideal summer retreat for groups of friends or family. Larger groups can take advantage of the neighbouring farmhouse which offers a further 10 beds and a second swimming pool. The two properties, whilst being in close proximity, allow the occupants to maintain their own privacy as a result of their careful design. The pool and summer kitchen with the surrounding landscaped gardens provide a wonderful area for relaxation Guest have unrestricted access to the property and it’s grounds and there are no shared areas. The pool is totally private and is not overlooked. This is a private property. There is only one other house in the vicinity and if that is occupied it is unlikely hat you will be aware of anyone else’s presence The property is on the edge of a tiny hamlet, is wonderfully private has great views, but is less than 3 km from a small town with a range of facilities including a supermarket. A car is essential to reach this relatively isolated property and to travel around the area The pool is serviced on a weekly basis through the summer. Although the owners do not live nearby, a local property manager is normally available to deal with any problems that may arise.
