Romantic Garden Room, Shady & Green

Spacious room filled with shifting green light, Chinese four-poster marriage bed, big bathtub next door, squashy couches. Our architect loved feng shui and it shows! Floor-length windows give onto a tropical garden which leads to the salt-water pool. The guest bathroom is huge and comfortably equipped with a big egg shaped tub. Our pool is shaded and sparkles with salt water. Comfy mattress and lovely antiques complete the ambience. With respectful, kind hosts, this is a really special stay. Your private bedroom gives onto the green leafy courtyard and is cool and shaded all day. We live upstairs and we're very happy to help out if you want some tourism hints or need directions; if you prefer to have your privacy we will leave you your own space. The room has a soft breeze through it and floor-length windows. The antique four poster Chinese bed has a new, very high quality mattress and big piles of pillows and fresh linen. It's a quiet location but close to the hub of things, plenty of good quality restaurants & casual dining options nearby and you're not far from the city centre. We think you'll love it! You are warmly invited to use the pool and bask on the deck and in the garden. If you need to pop upstairs to see us you'll be very kindly welcomed. Fairfield is dotted with lovely green parks and the river runs along the bottom of our hill. It's a quiet, friendly suburb with a couple of secret neighbourhood cafes we'll be glad to point out to you. We're just a five-minute stroll from the Fairfield Gardens bus which connects the local shopping centre with the city and Fortitude Valley every fifteen minutes. Train station is an eight-minute walk. If you want to walk a little further along picturesque Brisbane Corso you can cross the beautiful pedestrian bridge to University of Queensland and pick up the City Cat for a scenic river ride to Southbank. We have a little cat who may request cuddles and would like you to open your door for her occasionally to let her come in from her nightly adventures outdoors.
