The apartment's town centre location offers easy access to explore York's heritage buildings, galleries and museums, beautiful walks along the river, up to Mt Brown or relax and enjoy a complete break from everything. The York Post Office was built in 1893 to the design of colonial architect George Temple-Poole. It is one of Australia's only still functioning, purpose built post office. The apartment is located within the old post master's residence. Guests have exclusive access to the apartment's facilities. The apartment operates on a self checkin basis, but guests can be met at the apartment by arrangement. No interaction with owners or owner's representatives unless required. Free on site parking
