Stone house apartment in Stremiz
You will stay in an old stone house in the village of Stremiz. The place is very quite and surrounded by a beautiful forest. You can have nice walks in the surroundings and pick up yourself the vegetables for your dinner from our kitchen garden. We make discounts for families, ask for it sending a request for info. The fully renovated apartment is on two open space floors, without separated rooms, and can accommodate 4 people (up to 6 if required). There is a small open kitchen a big bathroom and one separated toilet. You can use all the spaces belonging to our property, including the various terraces and the garden. Someone is always available in case you need anything. The village is very charming and quit, surrounded by uncontaminated nature. There are some natural pools in the river where you can swim (if you don't mind cold water!), five minutes walking distance in the woods. The closest food shop in 3 km downhill in Faedis. Near-by tourist attractions: Italy: - The Lombard town of Cividale del Friuli (14 km) - The the historical capital of Friuli, Udine (17 km) - The star fort of Palmanova (48 km) - The ancient Roman city of Aquileia (63 km) - The sea city of Trieste, crossroads of Latin, Slavic, and Germanic cultures (97 km) Slovenia: - Water sports in Soča Valley: rafting, kayaking, canyoning (53 km) Parking space is available near the house. Stremiz is a quiet and isolated hamlet but easy and quick to access from the village of Faedis (just 5 minutes by car), where you can find grocery stores, a post office, doctor, etc. The village is situated near the border with Slovenia, so you'll have the chance to visit both countries. Nearest airports: - Trieste (60 km) - Treviso (134 km) - Venezia (139 km) There is almost no mobile phone reception in the village, but there is wifi connection in the apartment.
