Country in the City

HALF of THE HOUSE it is private, locked off I AM in other half of the house. Suburbia is right behind, and beside, yet awesome rural hectares of views from front yard. The shed is all yours not shared with me or front yard. Big kid swings for adults / teenagers or children. Smokers ok, great lounge in front yard to get relaxed and have a cold beer or wine. Garage is set up with lounges, dart & hooky board. Can light a fire there or put it in yard or in other shelter. A friendly cat Many different teas and herbal teas. Moccona coffee, milk, the butter, jam and vegemite are in single serves. I put a sourdough and rye or whole meal or white or grain in the machine, I no longer do gluten free sorry. There is porridge in individual packets and breakfast cereals in individual packets. You will have the front door access only. You drive in gates and can park car in garage. You access via the front 8 stairs. Your side has a big lounge-room, Telstra TBox, (Hidden by Airbnb) box, DVD player. A separate big bedroom, a big kitchen and a big seperate dining room. A bathroom with shower over a bath, with a toilet and a washing machine in that room. Very private with beautiful rural views out each window. Key is easy accessible. I live on the other side of house keep to myself unless needed. I have no access to Airbnb all locked for your privacy. Also I give you the front yard and garage for your privacy. The middle of house has two rooms (1. junk room & 2. My cats access the room, not the 2 front yard cats) This keeps you and me more private. I am not worried about noise or you singing or music or you all enjoying yourselves at dinner table or getting on it and being happy. It’s only my make shift kitchen that backs up to your dining room, we share walls, here we can just hear each other. But I only use the room for coffee or making food or getting pet food, I have no interest in your talking - nil! I shut myself off in the sunroom IF I’m home. I cannot hear you when you are in the lounge and bedroom. The two middle rooms block out are great barrier. Your side and the house position is very private. Situated in Rural residential; close to Toowoomba and the welcamp airport. 3 minutes to freeway to Brisbane, sunny or Gold Coast. Choice of 4 shopping centres to go only 15 mins away. Local corner shop for fuel take away and groceries. Cows, birds, trains, creek, footpaths for cycling. Kingsthorpe mountain you can climb. Close enough to Bunya Mountains and dams near Toowoomba. Accommodation is not in a middle of nowhere; it is a rural residential stay. Walkers, suburbia living, not noisy. The place offers rural county views, the hobby farmer may even be ploughing his field or baling hay. However this is only twice a year, and it is wonderful, smelling the earth and hearing and watching the tractor. You will hear topknot pigeons, willie wagtails, the peewees, the plovers, the magpies and the galahs. Sparrows, blue wrens, finches, honeyeaters and starlings also are around. Only school bus. You can have KFC or dominos pizza will deliver to you. Walk to corner shop for take away also. Uber drivers know the house. Train goes by and sometimes two Clydesdale horses or two stock horses pulling a buggy. There are two cats in front yard. One cat is very very friendly she may want to run in. If she gets in and you don’t like that, pick her up and put her back out, she gets the message. If this is an issue that she is friendly and it will make you harm her please do not book. Cats are friends and family. Two dogs also, who have NO access to your Airbnb side. However they do have the east side yard and access under the house. It is locked and no access is allowed to Sadie - Belgium Shepard and Paisley the Boarder Collie, sorry no feeding them. I am respectful I understand babies and children and people wanting to rest and sleep. I have barking collars on.
