Welcome! Please, before reading what follows, be aware that from July 6 to Aug. 24, check-in/out are only on Saturdays with a minimum stays of one week (7 nights)...thx! The apartment is placed in the ancient core of an e-village, nestled in the typical Mediterranean land, 20 minutes driving away from the coast. All the facilities are on hand: a common swimming pool, public and private parking, laundry with washing machines and dryers, Snack bar. It is a 3-rooms flat, which can accomodate up to six people. It consists of a comfortable double bedroom, a large living room with a circular 'french bed' (1 and a half place) and an additional sofa-bed for two, a well equipped kitchen (with appliances) and a bathroom with bath tub. The underfloor heating makes the apartment comfortable all year round. A common laundry room, which is shared by the village, is close by, as well as the loading/unloading area. Pets are not allowed. All the apartment is available. There is a beautiful garden equipped with barbecue, a few meters away from the swimming pool area. A private parking with remotely controlled access is available a few steps from the entrance of the village. The welcoming service is performed by ourselves or alternatively by our staff. They will be waiting for you in the village and take you to the apartment and the facilities of the village. They will be also your reference throughout the stay. We ourselves are in the village too, and it will be easy we happen to meet around. It is a totally pedestrian village, nestled in lush greenery and the wild environment that is typical of the deep valleys that run through the Ligurian inland. A careful restoration has brought the village to a new life, keeping unchanged the common spaces, as well as the surfaces and the charm of the past. As regards doing the shopping, the first place is down the main road, about 7 km from the village. It is a grocery store but not only. You find everything you usually need daily. Otherwise, if you look for something more detailed or if you would like to have different chances of choosing, you had better go a little bit further on, to the village of 'Cisano sul Neva', where two grocery stores are located (also having different stuff), a butcher, a confectioner's shop and two Snack Bars, one of which selling also cigarettes and newspaper. There is also a Bank with a cash dispenser on the outside. It is worth also having a walk in the tiny historical center, lying the rocky riverside. Alternatively, you can do shopping in the supermarket named "Ipercoop", about 14 km distant from the village, not too far from the motorway toll. In the small central square, there is a Snack/Coffee Bar (Winter opening: Wed-Sunday. Day off on Monday and Tuesday. Summer opening, from the end of June: every day, from 9 am. No day off.) A small mini market useful to do a quick and light shopping is placed on the ground level of the Bar. Not far from the village, along the main road leading to the seaside, there are good quality restaurants and pizzeria. The village is reached by bus service three times a day, therefore, is advisable to have your own car. The common pool is open between May 15 and September 14. It is a stretch of water nestled into the olive trees, overlooking the valley. A lifeguard is on duty in the daytime. The valley closeby the village is one of the most well-known sites in Europe for climbers. Several crags are just a few steps from the village, down the paths and the old mule tracks that start from the village.
