십승지의 고장 화북면은 예로부터 산수가 아름답고 기품이 있으며, 공기 맑고 물 좋은 곳입니다. 펜션(민박) 앞으로는 속리산 천왕봉에서 발원한 맑은 물이 흐르는 용유계곡 상류로 계곡따라 장각폭포에서 시비공원까지 약 4km 산책로와 아담한 정자가 있습니다. 뒤로는 속리산(문장대) 백두대간 지맥으로 산림욕장과 약 2km 원점회귀 등산로를 정비하였습니다. 독가촌으로 지방도로에 인접하여 면 소재지까지 1km 내외로 가까우면서도 번잡하지 않아 깊은 산속 같은 평온한 힐링공간입니다.(산림욕장, 산책로, 튜브풀장, 농장체험, 나무그네, 바비큐장, 자전거)
