Escape to the country in beautiful Dorset village

A relaxing, quiet spot set within a family smallholding. The perfect hideaway for walkers, cyclists and those looking to explore beautiful Dorset. Footpaths lead straight from your front door and the world famous Jurassic coastline is just a 10 minute drive away. The county town of Dorchester with its wealth of history is also a 10 minute drive away. Refuel after the days exploring by taking a short stroll to one of the village pubs or fire up the bbq for alfresco dining. Then why not kick back to watch the sunset from your own decking area whilst enjoying a drink by the chimnea. We live onsite so available as much or as little as you would like! Check in is from 3pm to give us time to clean and turn over the space, but do ask if you need to come earlier, we will do our best to accommodate your request if we can. Check in can be contactless via a key safe box if required. We have taken the time to put together a guest handbook with helpful info about your accommodation and places to visit. You will likely see us out and about feeding the animals but we understand that some guests like their privacy so you will remain undisturbed unless you need us or would like some advice to help you make the most of your trip. Breakfast items including fresh milk, eggs from our own hens, jams, cereals, tea and cafetiere coffee will be provided for you to enjoy at your leisure. Fresh pastries will also be delivered to your doorstep on the first morning of your stay. The village has 2 pubs within a short walk and a corner shop stocking an excellent range of local produce. Guests have an allocated parking space. Please do take care and drive slowly when driving on and off site as there are free range animals (...and at times, children!) There is also a regular bus service to Dorchester. Please be advised that there are security cameras onsite.
