Close by beauty spots include Box Hill, Newlands Corner and Silent Pool (with its award winning Gin distillery). The Sussex Border path passes just outside of the village and runs for 150 miles in total! There is a layby just off the A29/Stane Street with free parking. The nearest train station is Ockley, which is a 20mn walk away Located between the Market towns of Dorking and Horsham, it is also ideally situated for Gatwick Airport (25 mins) and is 40 minutes from the South Coast...and beach! Local amenities include two pubs in the village, a small convenience store and a wonderful Farm Shop selling local produce. The Village Green has a cricket pitch and pavillion and is surrounded by picturesque cottages dating back to the 16th Century. There is plenty of free parking at the property.
