Adorable single level country home nestled in the trees on the edge of a private pond & enveloped by ranch land, mountain & valley views is a wonderful place for a relaxing vacation or kicking back after sightseeing, hunting or skiing/snowboarding. A perfect place to spend time with friends, family, or all to yourself. Entire home, yard and pond are there for you to enjoy. Minutes away from the quaint town of Chewelah makes this a perfect getaway and still be close to activities. Picturesque setting surrounded by pasture land and adjoining property is part of a regenerative grass-fed ranch featuring beef cattle, horses, poultry, sheep, goats and livestock guardian dogs. Depending on the time of year; in addition to the native wildlife, you can see hay being harvested, animals grazing the pasture land and other ranch activities. Hunters - this is a perfect base for GMU 121 or the adjoining GMU 117. (No hunting allowed on property) Skiers and snowboarders - you are just 12 miles from 49 Degrees North and can see the mountain from kitchen window. Snowmobiles - This area has amazing areas for snowmobiling, the large parking area will accommodate you and a trailer full of toys! Golfers - you are only 5.8 miles for the Chewelah Golf and Country Club. As our guest, you are welcome to enjoy the entire house, private drive, fenced yard area, patio and pond area (note pet and child supervision required). Pets must be leashed for walks down the private drive. Please, do not walk in fields or woods behind house. Storage shed and enclosed garden area at end of yard is not available to access. As your Co-Host, I wish to respect your privacy and want you to have a peaceful stay in our lovely valley. However, should you have any needs, problems or questions that arise during your stay please do not hesitate to reach out to me via the messaging platform. My personal home is located at the first stop on this private drive, just before archway on the right with the ranch sign. This is a rural farming area with this listings surrounding property as part of a regenerative grass-fed ranch. Beautiful mountain and valley views and four distinct seasons with lots of wildlife. House is on a private drive with large private parking area suitable for trailers should you wish to bring 4wheelers or snowmobiles for your outdoor adventures. No additional RV (housed) parking allowed without prior approval. *** Listing Update *** Main Yard is under maintenance for new grass planting this spring, currently does not appear as pictured, views are still wonderful. COVID-19 Notice: Listing will be stocked for guests stay according to number of guests and length of stay. Due to limited and fluctuating availability of supplies, restocking over and beyond during your stay may not be possible. We encourage guests to conserve provided supplies during their stay, bring or purchase additional if needed. Cleaning & Disinfection are a priority for us to ensure a safe and comfortable stay for all guests. 1. Primary primitive country road access is gravel, winter time is maintained by the county and is out of hosts control. 2. Driveway access in winter time may require snow removal. Guest should be prepared if staying in winter months. 3. Snow shovel and sand provided for your use (seasonally), should it snow during your stay. 4. If Pond is frozen, please do not attempt to walk or skate on ice (it can still be thin in places). 6. This property does have a security camera located at the parking area/driveway entrance and is on 24/7. This is for Host and Guest security. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE: We want you to have a great experience when staying with us, and that starts with a clean space. We have strict NO SMOKING policy, you may be charged additional cleaning fees for smoking inside listing. ** Note on Pets - Pet(s) are an ADDITIONAL $35 Charge (per dog) $45 (per cat). This maybe charged as an additional money request to guest. Clean up after your pet is expected, this additional charge is due to additional cleaning pet hair and dirty feet requires. ** Cleaning fees are for cleaning the environment, linens, etc. We attempt to keep these reasonable. Guests that decline to meet house rules by not cleaning up after themselves, may be subject to additional cleaning fees to cover additional time for cleaning of items not followed. **Long term rentals are subject to additional cleaning fees ~ Stays longer than 30 days will be negotiated with every approved guest. Note: This rate may be decreased if guest leaves home exceptionally clean upon check-out. Kennel rental is available for $20 per stay. Guest must clean kennel prior to check-out. (please note in request that a kennel is needed request at booking, for set-up prior to arrival). This is a full country home on acreage with private access and maintenance is needed periodically, especially during longer stays. Yard, fences, driveway, walk and snow removal maintenance may be necessary depending on your stay. We will message you through the Airbnb platform of any planned activity in the immediate home area.
