Lockyer Valley Airfield stay

Our property is a cattle grazing property in the heart of the Brisbane Valley. We have aircraft flying occasionally on our private Airfield for pilots use. So you can drive in or FLY in to your accommodation. You can book the full use of the Home. All guest bookings are required to verify themselves before booking thank you. R1: 2x King single beds , & R2: 2 x single beds, R3: 2 x single beds with plenty of warm donas for the winter night. Our kitchen in the accommodation is limited for cooking, there is no stove, we have a microwave , toasted sandwich maker, vegetable steamer, & our BQ area is for cooking your main & BQ dinner. Smoking is only permitted on the verandah & pergola. We have a large fully equipped kitchen in our pergola that has a BQ for cooking meats a microwave, electric frypan, gas hot plate, fridge, and a large dining table to enjoy eating your meal, for winter we have a nice fire to sit by. Also a toilet. We are on mobile at all times if you need to ask us anything, or if you would like anything supplied . We are open to joining you in the pergola for a glass of wine beside the fire if you would like us to. We are only 10 minutes from the beautiful Wivenhoe dam for swimming , fishing, canoeing ( you can hire canoes if you don’t have one) hiking and barbecuing. Also the Brisbane Valley rail Trail goes right through Coominya, you can hire a bike and ride the Trail, Lots of Cafe & restaurants. within 15-30min drive. We would like our guests to remember that we are an active Airfield and sometimes there may be a plane flying, It is nice to sit on the deck alongside the runway and watch the planes come in and land.
