Comfortable flat with fabulous views of Loch Long

Our fully equipped flat is part of the upper story of a victorian villa on the western shore of Loch Long. Originally built in 1860 and extended in 1910, the house has fabulous views of the loch. The flat is very well equipped and has everything you need for your stay in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. You can enjoy wonderful views and comfort in our well equipped flat. Everything you need for a quiet break will be at hand. Internet, TV (with Chromecast, Netflix on request) in case the weather is bad. The kitchen is well equipped with washer dryer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster etc. - and everything else you need to rustle up quick snacks or gourmet meals. The flat has its own entrance door and you can come and go as you please. The house sits in grounds of one acre, which is partially wooded. You are welcome to use the garden during your stay. Barbecue facilities (with smoker) are also available on request. We live in the main house and will often be on hand to answer any queries you have and provide guidance on what to do in the area. The village of Blairmore is in the Loch Lomond and Trossochs National Park, on the western shore of Loch Long and is around 9 miles from the nearest town of Dunoon. The village has a couple of shops (a bric-a-brac shop and a cafe). The neighbouring village of Strone, has a general store and post office. Dunoon has two major supermarkets, a cinema, an indoor swimming pool and several good restaurants and cafes. Attractions in the area (apart from the wonderful scenery!) include, Puck's Glen, Benmore Botanical Garden, Kilmun Arboretum and several golf courses. Blairmore has a regular bus service to Dunoon. Getting to Blairmore is easy via rail from Glasgow combined with regular foot passenger and car ferries from Gourock to Dunoon.
