Best Views in Brisbane - why stay in the city?!?!
My apartment is opposite the water, on the second floor, giving absolutely spectacular views, and close proximity to cafes, restaurants, the beach, and nightlife. You’ll love it with the high ceilings, the people, and the location. It is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. You get exclusive use of the 2nd bedroom. It is furnished with a double bed and two bedside tables plus a wardrobe. It is not a huge room. This is a resort style complex of 11 units, mostly owner occupiers. It has beautiful gardens and a very inviting pool. My apartment is air-conditioned but with the large sliding doors open we get beautiful sea breezes most of the time so it is rarely needed. Your bedroom has a lovely green leafy outlook as it is at the rear of the building. It has an overhead fan and a good breeze comes in the windows most of the time and for those very hot nights there is air-conditioning. You are free to have a dip in the pool during the pool operating hours. Arriving I am quite flexible with your arrival and departure time. The only time I have to be a little particular is if I have back to back bookings. If you are arriving while I am not home I have a key safe and you can let yourself in. You have the run of my apartment excluding my bedroom and ensuite. Your bedroom has a double bed and the wardrobe and bedside tables are empty for your possessions. The main bathroom is for you to use exclusively. It has a full size bath. The shower is over the bath with vanity and cupboards for your toiletries. The toilet is separate across the hall. You have exclusive use of the bathroom as I have my own ensuite however if I have friends over they will use your bathroom to wash hands after a visit to the toilet. You are free to use the kitchen. Tea coffee and condiments are supplied but I ask that you supply your own food. I may invite you for a meal on the occasion but I would like you not to rely on this as I may not always be home. There is also a bbq on the balcony which you are free to use. I simply ask that you clean up afterwards. If you need to wash there is a washing machine. There are clothes lines downstairs it you are doing a large load, and a folding clothes rack in the apartment if you only have a few items. I just ask that you do not dry clothes on the balcony as this is against Body Corporate By-Laws. I am trying to do my bit for the environment so a dryer is only available when the weather or time is against us. There are two desks in the living room which have power points nearby if you need to use your laptop and need a comfortable space to work. I work shift work and may or may not be around when you are. I am always happy to give you tips and directions to make your stay comfortable. If you want your own space I will be considerate of your needs and if you wish to socialise as long as I am available I will be happy to. If I have friends over for dinner, a meal or swim you would always be welcome to join in. My neighbourhood is so beautiful. There is always something to look at from the large sliding glass windows that look out over the bay. People working, skating, riding their bikes and other self made contraptions, an amazing range of animals that are walked by their owners, people out on the water in kayaks, paddle boards, sailing boats etc etc etc. All this sounds very busy yet we are along the quieter end of the Esplanade. There are shops and restaurants only a few minutes walk away where you can go for a coffee, substantial meal or a slightly stronger beverage. The train is about a 10-15 minute walk away and the train takes about 40 mins to the CBD. There is also a bus which leaves from the Esplanade only 375 metres away and travels to the CBD. I have two push bikes which you are free to ride. If you need to go somewhere and I am available I would be happy to take you depending on my availability, the distance and time required. There may be an extra charge or there may not depending on the situation. Just ask and we can work something out if possible. As this is a complex with other apartments (condominiums) to consider, I would ask that you respect their peace and quite and be careful to close doors quietly - and abide by the Body Corporate By-Laws etc. The Body Corporate By-Laws are in the Welcome Folder which I request you read on check-in and abide by during your stay.
