There is a great deal of history in Tiverton from an old Roman fort to the best example of a Georgian Church in the south west. - Grand Western Canal Country Park and local Nature Reserve meanders for 11 miles through beautiful countryside. There is a horse-drawn barge trip as well, one of the only ones left in the country.
