Luxury Log Cabin with Sauna

Come and relax in our luxury hand-built log cabin with sauna. Situated in a tranquil, woodsy setting its the perfect place unwind, un-plug, read a book, have some fresh coffee and simply enjoy the natural setting you are in. Explore the beautiful places that Skagit Valley has to offer and the fun little town of Edison. My husband, Leo, built the log cabin from ground up as well as everything in it. Log by log - hand tracing each one, and hollowing them out to fit using traditional tools. Any wooden touches in the space including the table and benches were hand made and the wooden floors were hand planed. We really hope you enjoy the craftsmanship that went into the space. The cabin (studio) has warm and cozy touches throughout the space. There is no tv or WiFi (no availability due to area) so it is a perfect place to unplug and unwind. We provide firewood for the sauna which can also be used to heat the cabin. There is also an electric heater for your convenience. The guest house is on the same property as the main house (60 feet behind the main house) but you have access to the whole grounds, so make yourself at home. The cabin has a outdoor seating area with a mini fridge and microwave. The bbq grill next to the cabin is also available for use. We are available to answer any questions and are here to give you any recommendations but we do respect your privacy. The log cabin is near lots of hiking trails - oyster dome and Blanchard Mt., downtown Edison with cute shops and local eateries, Chuckanut Drive, Anacortes, La Conner and The Skagit Casino. We are about 1.5 hours from Mt Baker ski area and a 20 minute drive to the tulip fields (we will show you the back roads to get there) To get around you will need to have a car or bikes if you brought them. The Akita's (dog) name is Sochi. Please do not feed him, but if you would like to meet him just ask us and we would be happy to introduce you!
