Romantic Getaway with that Someone Special

Detached family home beautifully situated 5 minutes from the beautiful town of Llangollen. Stunning views across the valley and the canal and overlooking the Eisteddfod. This has a SuperKing Bed with a large ensuite. Tea/Coffee and biscuits provided. Bathrobe and slippers also provided. This is our family home which we share with our beautiful Little Jack Russell, Lilly. She is very friendly so be prepared for a very excitable and loving dog on your arrival. We have two guest bedrooms listed with Airbnb and these are accessed from the front hallway and staircase which is independent of the family living space, allowing our guests the privacy to come and go as they please. Both bedrooms are completely different and have stunning views. Guest access includes the hallway and the bedroom. The main part of the house is kept for family use only. Parking is outside the house so the car does not have to be moved during your stay. Please note: Whilst breakfast is not included an assortment of teas/coffee/hot chocolate making facilities are in the room as well as biscuits. There are many cafes and bakeries that I can recommend within a few minutes walking distance of the house that serve an assortment of breakfasts at reasonable prices. Our home is strictly a non-smoking household, although you are welcome to smoke outdoors. We are ideally situated for guests attending weddings in any one of the several wedding venues in this area. The rooms can be made up as honeymoon suites or even the night before the wedding as they are both beautiful. Being a romantic at heart if you have a special occasion coming up on your stay , please let us know, we can provide Champagne/Prossecco, Strawberries, Chocolates, Flowers. If you are arriving late and wish to have a bite for when you come in please let us know and we can prepare something delicious for you to eat. (NOTE - We are vegetarians so will be all vegetarian food). We will be there to welcome you to our home and a handover of keys. We will provide you with a number to contact us 24h. Renowned for the surrounding hills and the River Dee, Llangollen has something for every visitor. There are an astonishing range of cafés, bars, pubs restaurants and takeaways to suit everyone. This small town also has a wealth of independent shops to browse and interesting places to visit. Take a stroll along the Victoria Promenade, picnic in the Riverside Park or watch the river tumble down beneath the bridge. For the more energetic there is a whole range of outdoor activities. If you just want to relax, let the train take the strain and ride on the steam railway or experience peace and tranquility, gliding along the canal on a horse-drawn boat. Llangollen is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site along eleven miles of canal from Gledrid to the Horseshoe Falls via the spectacular Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. We look forward to meeting you.......
