Located in Lanta Old Town we are on the nature-rich, southeast coast of Koh Lanta, only 15 minutes away from the stunning beaches and tourist areas on the west coast — yet far enough to allow the village to retain its traditional culture and charm. Those who want a more independent holiday - will love it. This privately-owned oceanfront villa is located at the south end of Old Town and a five minute walk to restaurants and shopping. Coconut House is a two bedroom, one and a half bathroom home made of gorgeous hardwood and that sits on stilts directly over the sea. The view over the harbour and the archipelago is absolutely stunning. The 1500 sq ft. villa offers all the modern conveniences you'll need to live in comfort and style. The expansive master bedroom is in the top story of this two-story villa (fan cooled) with a small sofa bed . The open way the house is built, allows for plenty of natural sea breeze and there are many fans to cool you down. On the ground floor are two Thai day beds in the living room and a sofa bed in hall way. The first floor bedroom has air conditioning with 2 single beds and a double bed. (can sleep 4) Amenities include: Lovely covered deck with soft seating and a hammock, HIGH SPEED wifi Internet , hot water garden shower; double gas cooking hob; breakfast bar, toaster, full sized refrigerator, bedding, linens, cutlery, kitchen and breakfast bar. A Note About The Tides: The highest tides are over 3 meters high, and are at the full moon and new {black} moon phase of EACH month, EVERY month. The normal tides are around 2.5 meters and change daily every 6 hours, for more information look at Phuket’s tide chart on the internet. The sea's clarity is very much influenced by the wind and waves, and therefore the time of the season. It can be stunning year around, but if stormy the sea is not clear. Lanta Old Town is a working fishing village with no sandy beach, there is a beach at the end of the street with rock and a little red sand where you can swim.
