Hemmingway's Paradise

Completely self-contained cottage on secure residential property situated on quiet street. Within walking distance from a number of restaurants and shops and Ubers are minutes away. The cottage is small (20sqm) but airy and light with a desk and a small kitchen. A very friendly dog will greet you when you arrive and if you allow it, will spend the day at your feet. We love having guests and everyone is welcome. The cottage is perfect for solo travellors or couples as it's compact and fully-equipped. A built-in dressing table and hanging space provide plenty of room for clothes, wetsuits, suits or whatever, and there's a walk in-high pressure shower and big dry towels. When you don't want to stay indoors there's an outside table to while away the evenings, plenty of books to borrow and small fridge to stock up on freshments and whatever else you need. The outside shower is only cold water but incredibly invigorating after a swim in the sea or a run around the park. The garden is all yours, including the vegetable garden, the outside shower and the outdoor basin washing all your dishes. You are welcome to use our washing machine which is inside the kitchen in the main house and the washing line in the garden. I live in the main house but I work in town. If I'm not at home, I'm available on my mobile should you have any queries or need anything. The property is five minutes walk from an outstanding portugese restaurant which is open 7 days a week, a Woolworths food shop and a trendy strip of bars and restaurants. It is also a stone's throw away from Bulwer Park where you can join the runners, walkers and dog walkers either at the end of the day or in the early morning. The property itself is set back from the road, fully secured, and quiet. Off-street parking is secured by a 24 hour guard who sits approximately 50 metres from the house. Ubers generally arrive within minutes as the house is off a main road which runs through Glenwood.
