The Puffin studio apartment. Apartment. 35 m2 for two persons with a private entrance in Mosfellsbær. Bedroom and small living room with a kitchen. Microwave and stove. You will find everything to make your stay comfortable such as adjustable queen size bed, bathroom with shower and kitchenette. The location is perfect if you are visiting Reykjavík and have a rental car.(20 min driving to the City center) We are close to the Golden circle route (30 min drive to Thingvellir)and the main road to west and north Iceland is 5 minutes driving from us. Walking trails all around in the valleys and close to 7 mountains that have easy trails to the top. Free parking. A box with a key code at the front door but we try to meet our guests in person when possible. We are located in Mosfellsbær, a peaceful small community 20 minutes driving from down town Reykjavík. Nature is at the doorsteps with many beautiful walking paths along the river, light hike up to Helgfell or mountain Esja or or down to the shore. You find 2 swimming pools nearby with hot tubs. Very good bakery with a coffee house in a 10 minutes walking distance and restaurant and grocery store (Krónan)in the same building. For those who love horses is a 10 minutes driving to a horse rental farm. You are perfectly situated for day trips to the golden circle (Þingvellir,Gullfoss,Geysir) and West Iceland Borgarnes, Snæfellsnes ,Húsafell and many other places. We recommend a rental car but you can get here by bus 15 from central station (1 0 min walk to the bus stop)
