Palm Point

A comfortable, light, modern combined living area with a true lake feeling! Open plan living, dining, kitchen, bedroom area with separate large en-suite shower and w.c. Large glass sliding doors open out onto gardens and paved patio/private parking area. Located just a short stroll from the shores of Catalina Bay and a five minute drive into Toronto to the many boutiques and waterfront cafes and restaurants the area is famous for. The accommodation is on the ground level of our property with private access and parking for one vehicle. The bed is a comfortable Queen size with electric blanket. We supply all linen (bedding, towels and tea towels) needed for the duration of the stay. Complimentary wireless internet (NBN) is provided and a Rinnai Dynamo gas convector heater is supplied for chillier evenings. Parking is free in Toronto and other local towns.  Shopping malls in the area offer 3 hours free parking.  Buses do run through Coal Point but are not very frequent. I will be on hand in the main house to offer any help or advice, if required. I do however respect your privacy and will not interrupt during your stay. Coal Point is on a peninsula on Lake Macquarie comprising of Carey Bay, Coal Point and Kilaben Bay with a short 5 minute drive to the shops, cafes and restaurants of Toronto or alternatively the busier Warners Bay is located a 20 minutes drive away with its bustling foreshore restaurants, cafes and boutique shops. Westfield Kotara and Charlestown Square are two large shopping malls in the area, both approximately 30 minutes by car. Summer Markets are held in Speers Point, Warners Bay and Newcastle. The area is within a short drive of some really lovely beaches - Redhead, Caves, Blacksmiths and Catherine Hill Bay to name a few but there are many more worth visiting. Buses do run into Toronto (the nearest town) and surrounding areas but this is a very infrequent service. A car is probably the best way to see the area and there are plenty of free parking spots. The accommodation is self-contained with all amenities provided. It is self-catering and self-managed. Discounted bookings do not include daily breakfast supplies however all bookings come with first morning complementary breakfast ingredients. No additional guests are allowed. Not suitable for children or infants. No pets allowed. Non-smokers only please.
