Omah Tluki Room#5 suitable for work with yard

Omah Tluki is a Javanese house with a large living room and backyard. It is located in a quiet residential area next to the Pakualam Palace less than a kilometer from the city centre . The ensuite bedrooms are equipped with a very good mattrases, air conditioning, hot shower and free WiFi access. Breakfast is served every morning. Eggs are available in the fridge. Free coffee, tea and mineral water. Vegetarian meals are also served by request. We do daily room cleaning except on Sunday. The house is modest yet large one floor mortar and brick building. Located in the center of an old neighborhood makes it the right place for those who like quiet surrounding for relax, study or work. This 16 m² room has large windows overlooking the small yard, makes it bright and comfortable to work in. The living room, dining area, kitchen and backyard are the shared spaces. Guests are welcomed to use our kitchen or wonder off to the back yard and greet the family pets. We have cats, turtles, chickens and fishes in the pond. Guests may park their personal or rented bike or motorcycle in our garage, however currently we do not have facilities for overnight car parking. We would like everyone staying with us to enjoy the privacy of their rooms but also the opportunity to socialize with our family members at the living room and dining area. Let me introduce you to the members of Omah Tluki. It's a family house for four generations. Hosted and run by Maggie Norobangun, Mita, Tini, Tuti and Bu Mar. Maggie, the owner of the house. Although visually challenged, she is a great source of history. She loves to talk to new people and entertain them with her stories. Mita the host. She will make sure you will have an enjoyable stay at Omah Tluki and will help you to meet the information you need. Tini and Tuti are dress maker sisters who are also ready to help you during your stay. Bu Mar the cleaning lady who cleans and prepares the rooms and would also be happy to help you. You do not have to worry about checking in because there will always be somebody to open the door for you. Omah Tluki is located in a calmer area of the city, next to Pakualam's Palace. Not too touristy but all the tourist area and sights are reachable in a short time. There are several tourist destinations in the neighborhood. The Pakualam's Palace, several museums and markets. The nearest bus stop is 5 minutes walk away. Taxi service order takes between 10-15 minutes to the door. If you are adventurous you might like to try the Becak (pedaled rickshaw) for short distances. ADI SUTJIPTO INT AIRPORT is about 8 KM away. It takes about 20 minutes with a regular taxi and will cost you around IDR 65.000. If you prefer to take Transjogja bus, it will cost you IDR 3.500/person. The nearest bus shelter is about 5 minutes walk from home. You might need to consider leaving earlier because taking the bus may need a longer time to get to the airport in time. TUGU YOGYAKARTA TRAIN STATION is about 2 KM away. It takes about 15 minutes with a regular taxi and will cost you around IDR 35.000. You can also walk via Malioboro street it takes about 30 minutes to get there. LEMPUYANGAN TRAIN STATION is about 1 KM away and within walking distance from home. You can also try the Becak. It will cost you about IDR 25.000. Reliable money changer, ATM's, convenience store, drug store, local eateries are all within walking distance from home. Getting around using Uber/Grab/Gojek is relatively cheap and reliable. We will help you to order one if needed and if you have any question please do not hesitate to ask. BREAKFAST is served every morning between 07.00 - 10.00 AM. We also provide eggs and bread in the fridge, please feel free to prepare your own breakfast if you prefer to. You are welcome to use the kitchen but make sure to wash your own dishes and clean it afterwards. LUNCH is not available but guests may join us for dinner at an additional charge. We use mostly premium ingredients and organic vegetables. A vegan menu is also available upon request. Please advise us of any special dietary requirements that you may have. YOU may also invite outside guests for lunch or dinner at an additional charge. Maximum 5 persons. YOU are welcome to enjoy the backyard and try our home grown fruit that is in the season but make sure to wear our outdoor sandals provided and take them off or wash your feet before entering the house to avoid tracking dirt into the house. THE room will be cleaned daily between 08.00 - 11.00 AM, except Sunday. WE strictly separate our organic and non organic trash, please help us to put all your organic trash in the bucket provided. LONG TERM STAY We do serve long term stays for those who need to stay in Yogyakarta for work or study. Get 10% to 40% discount for a longer period of stay.
